While this would undoubtedly make an excellent choice as a shooting jacket, it's appropriate for any situation requiring a smart, comfortable, country-style tweed jacket, especially with the subtle added formality of the third button. The material has a soft but robust feel, the active back gives great freedom of movement, the sleeve length is perfect, the bellows pockets are practical while relatively unobtrusive, and the combination of coloured neps and checks in the weave, against the earthy background colours, all contribute to making this an outstanding choice.
