All our fabrics by the meter are designed and woven at our mill in Donegal town where we have been weaving for over 150 years.
We focus on natural fibres for our fabrics, wool – merino/lambswool, cashmere, silk, linen and alpaca are central to our collections. These natural fibres are renewable and biodegradable, coming from all-natural sources. The handle (feel) of the fabrics is natural, soft and luxurious.
We endeavour to take the most accurate possible photos of our fabrics, but as all screens differ they can appear differently on each device. If you are unsure, we recommend ordering a sample.
Yes, samples are available, minimum size 10cm x 8cm (depending on fabric). If you cannot see a sample for the fabric of your choice, please contact Customer Service.

I've searched long and hard for a fabric somewhere within this colour range, before I settled in this one. While the fabric feels a bit more coa**er than the swatch I ordered earlier on, I have all confidence it'll eventually get softer with wear.
The fabric itself has a beautiful large herringbone that is rather subtle compared with several others on offer here, because it is larger so the motif is a bit more spread out, and in another shade of pink, rather than a contrasting colour.
What I like best about this fabric is that it is such a dynamic mix of colour that my own hair (chestnut brown) and the hair of my cat (lots of white, black and a bit of brown) doesn't immediately stand out on the fabric when a few stray hairs land on it.
Frankly I can't wait to begin to sew the coat I am planning to make out of it!
